Started two businesses right after getting my Master’s from USC— DateSimply and RewardTag.com (R.I.P.). I learned the hard way through DateSimply that some acquisition offers should be accepted. I took that lesson to heart and after distributing 1M+ RewardTag units, sold it to one of our clients.

Ran the CA Markets for Lyft starting in 2014 which accounted for 50% of all Lyft rides at the time. Helped launch and scale local teams nationally as Lyft grew from 250 to 2500 employees. I left in 2017 to work on the future of autonomous transportation at Zoox and later took a five-person team from Seed through its Series A and eventual acquisition at BlackBird.

I co-founded the Lyft Syndicate with Ann Miura-Ko, Lyft's first investor and one of the greatest VCs of her generation. We grew it to 300+ of Lyft's earliest employees, then opened it up to 4,000+ outside investors. Together we deployed $30M+ across 70+ startups.
Along the way, I became the go-to person for big tech alumni communities, helping early leaders from Airbnb, Pinterest, Square, Stripe, and others launch their own syndicates.
In late 2020, I noticed a gap - a ton of people wanted to write $1K-$5K angel checks but didn't know how, didn't have a community, and couldn't access quality deals. So I reached out to the team at Hustle Fund to build Angel Squad. We teach people how we invest and then give them access to invest alongside us. TechCrunch called us the "Y Combinator of angel investing." We have 2500+ members from 50+ countries and host in-person meetups in 20+ markets.
